During a recent Bible verse memory contest, I was amazed to see my 7-year-old daughter recite an entire chapter of the Bible for the first time. She had always refused to do that before, but at this event, she was fully engaged—and incredibly proud of herself when she won a trophy. More importantly, she developed the confidence and interests of memorising God’s Word, and that confidence is priceless.

They also recently hosted an art contest, which was nothing short of miraculous. I watched in awe as dozens of boys and girls spent 45 minutes illustrating the story of Jonah and the fish. Every child wrote something they had learned from the story and used their creativity to bring the narrative to life through their drawings. It was deeply moving to see school-aged children reflect on spiritual truths and connect with their Creator in such a personal and expressive way.
